You've been summoned from your legion on the frontier to report to the senate but as you arrive in Rome, you hear of impossible events in the slums - the dead won't stay dead.
 
You find such stories ill-fitting the splendour of the city but then the dead come flooding up from the slums and a desperate fight for survival begins.
 
With the city gates locked and the legions slow to react, you find yourself fighting not just the ravening horde of undead but also your fellow citizens.
 
Will you fight solely for personal survival, or will you do your sworn duty and rise to the aid of Rome itself?
