Rome is the centre of the known world, but perhaps not for long...
 
You've been summoned from your legion on the frontier to report to the senate but as you arrive in Rome, you hear of impossible events in the slums - The dead won't stay dead.
 
You find such stories ill-fitting the splendour of the city but then the dead come flooding up from the slums and a desperate fight for survival begins.
 
With the city gates locked and the legions slow to react, you find yourself fighting not just the ravening horde of undead but also your fellow citizens. 
 
Will you fight solely for personal survival, or will you do your sworn duty and rise to the aid of Rome itself.
 
With only your wits, what will you do?
 
Draw up a character through five unique backgrounds each providing their own special skills. The game plays through a standard deck of playing cards in which for each in-game day you will draw one card and complete its event - often a mix between NPCs, combats, mini-games and/or challenges to complete.
 
So grab some d6 dice, a deck of playing cards and pencil, and good luck…
 
Custom card deck
 
At the back of the rulebook there are eight pages of card layouts split into each suits. When using a standard playing deck you will: Draw - Check - Play.
 
The custom deck removes that need for checking as all the instructions are listed directly on the card which makes for a more satisfying and seamless experience: Draw - Play.
 
(They also happen to look really good as a side benefit!)
 
Box Bundle
